This compact binocular stereo microscope has switchable 2X and 4X objective lenses, as well as sub-stage and overhead lighting. While the sub-stage light provides transmitted illumination for translucent specimens, the collar-mounted top-light provides reflected illumination for opaque objects. The microscope is focused using a rack-and-pinion system in the fixed column, ensuring consistent lateral positioning. The integrated design makes this a great microscope for low-magnification observation at home, or anywhere with limited space.
